Eligibility Requirements

  • Financial Support: The child or grandchild must demonstrate sufficient income to support the visiting parent or grandparent, usually shown through proof of income, such as notices of assessment or pay stubs.
  • Medical Insurance: Applicants must have valid Canadian medical insurance coverage for at least one year, with a minimum coverage of $100,000 for health care, hospitalization, and repatriation.
